Day 1 [6/23/11]

Ok! wow finally we found a computer! The trip to Korea wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be. We woke up at 5am, arrived at the airport around 8:30, checked in, and was inside in front of the gate around 9:30. nice timing right? Now, when we got on the plane to Narita, Toyko, Japan, it was very exicting. I was looking around every little corner of my seat of its function and looking through the list of things I can do on the plasma tv screen on the seat in front of me. On the airplane, we were provided a blankets, slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, pillows, and water. I also like the uniform of th airplane attendants. its all white and light turquoise blue. During the ride I Had ALOT to do, its impossible to watch/ play everything on the List! I watched movies: Mars Needs Mom( ok movie), No Strings Attached( bored, fell asleep at the end), Heart Beat(korean)(watched the begining and got bored), Patisserie Coin de rue(japanese), What Women Want(Chinese/mando starring Andy Lau good movie), and Hello Ghost(Korean pretty good, until it starts to drag). I played games :Japanese majong and Japanese go board… and made a playlist of music. They had alot of music. K-pop, classical, new release, and etc. I also looked at the map and other stuff. They also serveed alot of Food! The first food choice, I picked Bibimbap, which was very good while Yvette picked Japanese Curry. the second meal, I picked Chicken, which I didn’t like.. too much tomato sauce I guess. What was bad for me during this trip was that I got a bloody nose ( got a bloody nose at yvette house [the night before the trip] too T.T) and felt sick at the end. that was probably cause i was staring at the TV screen too long with a lot of Turbulance. That was like endless at the last 2-3 Hrs.( the whole trip is 11 hrs to Japan) Finally, we arrived in the Japan Airport and window Shopped around.




Japane was reall hot. about 85 degree! it was humid. Still it was so cool and green! I really want to visit japan next time.
I forgot to take photos of the airport, but I did take a picture of the food I bought at the airport. (it was around 3:30-4pm japan time) we barely had much time to explore so we only looked.. we plan to buy the japanese souvenirs later. we rode the plane, but i felt sick from the turbulance, so I slept the 2 hours. . the third meal ( I was surprised that they served a meal for a 2 hr flight) was pretty good. soo when we were near korea, all we saw was fog, we didn’t see the land of korea until we land, so pretty much I dont have any good pictures to show you. but yay we finally landed and made it out of Incheon Airport.. we rode the limousine bus 67011, which we paid for inside the airport for 10,000won($10). we had a confusing conversation trying to communicate with the bus people to of what stop to get off on, yonsei Unvi, or EWa Univ (closer to the dorm). we eventually did stop at Ewa Univ, but turns out to be a 30-40 min walk in the rain! those who came with us from the airport on to the bus were as confused as we were. I asked several people for the direction, go straight and turn left, but who would have thought it was so far! well finally we arrived and went inside of SK Global dorm, turns out we were at the wrong place because we had to go to the I-House, which is where Yvette and I are staying at. we got our keys and went to the 5th floor ( the highest for I-house [yay!] ) and got in our room. we both got crappy bed sheets and setting with stains on the bed sheet and pillow. one closet shelf on yvette side was broken. but luckily for Yvette, on her side, She found a BUNCH of Posters: 4men, 2ne1, SNSD, 2PM, 2AM, YG Entertainment, amd etc. we made our bed, unpacked (I got mad that my cold medicene spilt on my sweater and my shirt =( it turned all pink!), showered (had a MAJOR Nosebleed again [litterally dripping like a faucet] TT__TT), attempted to set up the internet but failed, and slept. we had the AC which SAVED us from the HOT humid heat. now, I will End this LONG post and sleep and explain about day 2 tomorrow =) it’s 10 pm right now.
