We woke up at 7am in the morning. Last night, it was pretty cold be cause we had the AC blasted. haha lucky Today, I grabbed a blanket from the lobby, so now I use three blankets. My summer blanket, yvette’s summer blanket, and now a regular thick blanket.
we decided to try the vending machine it was soo cool! and this tasted great. now all I need is to get some boba~Anyways, today we walked around the school with Caroline, a new friend on the same floor.
This is one of the stores we saw. There is ALOT of food stores and restaurants. xDDD well, we went back and forth from stores to new millenium hall to the Sk Gobal to I-house looking for adapters, restuarant, orientation building and etc.We had our first breakfast as a buffet style which was 4,500 won at kkini restaurant. Then we looked for adapters, but the store owner said it won’t be avaliable until 3pm. So, we went on a hunt for the laundry room, which we did eventually find on the floor below the lobby. It was pretty hidden. Later I talked to my dad and angela on skype to tell them how I am doing. At1:50 we rushed to our orientation. At 2pm, we went to our orientation which wasn’t all the interesting. There is a lot of events such as going to a traditional village place, busan and nanta for free, but because we have our friday class, there is a conflict so I’m not sure if we can do it. After the Orientation, Yvette and I went back to the store to get the adapters, but the internet still didn’t work. Later, we went back to our room and sat around planing and trying to fix the internet. Around 6-7pm, Yvette and I went to the New millennium hall’s cafeteria and got Bibimbap for lunch. It was a funny conversation with the two ahjima (older women) and one ahjisshi(older man). first Yvette and I was just staring at the menu, and then the Ahjisshi just poped up behind us and kept talking toward me about recommending bibimbap and this other meal. Yvette picked bibimbap, which I chose the same cause the guy said in korean.. if you want (bulgogi) beef, get bibimbap.
yvette and super daring to get 2 scoop of hot chili paste, while I barely survive eating 1.5 scoop of it. It was because when the ahjisshi was teaching us how to eat, I got too little scoop of the paste and he told me to get more, so carelessly I took a huge scoop.
After we finish eating, I bought strawberry icecream which was very good! toward the end when we got back to our room, I continue to eat it to discover that the stick of the ice cream was actually a tube of gum(empty since I ate it) as you can see above.
and I felt like posting a picture of my korean water too.
After our meal, I was bored while yvette was on her computer organizing her photos. I took a picture of myself. Afterward at 9pm, we came down to the computer lab and did some work. I typed up my blog one which took up 3 hours! After that, we went back to our room and slept. I was super warm with my blanket. ^.^
